KD Design is an independent Oxfordshire architectural design studio specialising in individual home extensions, renovations, conversions and new homes. Led by experienced architectural designer Keith Durham, the practice combines thoughtful design with the technical and construction expertise needed to carry projects successfully from initial ideas through to completion.

We work on a wide range of projects, including kitchen extensions, two storey extensions, remodelling, energy efficiency upgrades, work to properties in Conservation Areas and Listed Buildings, new homes, and both traditional and modern barn conversions. Our projects cover all areas of Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, including Oxford city centre, Summertown, Jericho, Woodstock and beyond.

We offer a customised architectural service to suit the needs of each project. This will cover the prebuild process, including feasibility, sketch designs and obtaining the necessary consents and approvals. Where a project progresses to technical design, KD Design prepares highly detailed plans and construction information to help contractors price the work accurately and reduce assumptions during the build.

We remain on hand during the construction phase for every project. This can be a light touch service, where we remain available to discuss minor issues or design changes, or a full architectural service that includes managing construction through to completion, handover and the rectification of defects. This helps to ensure a smooth and orderly project from start to finish.

We run projects throughout the county, from Abingdon to Bicester and from Henley on Thames to Burford and beyond.
